I'd like to talk about a time when my former classmate, Leo, helped me deal with a serious computer problem just before an important university presentation. At that time, I had spent nearly a week preparing a presentation for a group project. I had collected information, designed the slides, and added a few short video clips to make it more engaging. However, on the evening before the presentation, my laptop suddenly froze and refused to restart properly. What made the situation worse was that the latest version of my slides had not been backed up online. I was extremely stressed because I was responsible for the opening part of the presentation. Leo was the first person I thought of because he was quite good with computers. Even though it was late, he responded to my message almost immediately and came over to my dormitory. He patiently checked the laptop, discovered that the problem was caused by a system update, and helped me start it in safe mode. More importantly, he managed to recover my presentation files and saved copies of them to both a USB drive and cloud storage. He also lent me his spare laptop in case mine failed again the next day. I felt enormously relieved and genuinely grateful. Without his help, I might have had to recreate the whole presentation overnight, or even let my teammates down. The experience also taught me a practical lesson: I should always back up important files in more than one place. Since then, I have become much more careful, and I have really appreciated Leo's kindness and reliability.
