One skill that I learned from older people is the art of gardening, which I picked up from my grandfather. Growing up, I would spend my summers at my grandparents' house in the countryside. My grandfather, who was an avid gardener, took great pride in his vegetable garden. He was always willing to share his vast knowledge with me. The learning process was both hands-on and observational. My grandfather would have me accompany him in the garden, showing me how to plant seeds, water the plants properly, and even how to deal with pests naturally. Over time, I learned how different plants require different types of care and attention. What truly fascinated me was his ability to predict weather changes just by observing the sky and feel of the air, which helped in deciding when to plant or harvest. I feel incredibly grateful for having acquired this skill. Not only does it connect me to nature, but it also serves as a cherished memory of the time spent with my grandfather. Gardening has become a therapeutic activity for me, providing both relaxation and a sense of accomplishment when I see the fruits of my labor.
